Exchange for Mutual Improvement - MEC Group Leaders and Employees visit Qingyuan Company
The year 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of MEC Group. As part of the celebration activities, the Board invited leaders and employees to embark on a journey to Qingyuan to explore new directions for the Group. The focus was on residential and commercial real estate projects, with an aim to dive into the history and the future of the Group with a firm determination to tackle all the challenges along the way.
The first group of more than 40 members began their visit in July. Through field visits as well as experience-sharing and team-building activities, they furthered the in-depth understanding and exchange between the Group and Qingyuan Company, making a common commitment to drive quality growth of the Group’s business in all fields.
The members received a warm welcome from Qingyuan Company. The first stop was a commercial complex project developed by the Company, including residential buildings from Phase I to V. The members were impressed by the diversified architectural styles and comprehensive facilities, which fully exhibited Qingyuan Company’s expertise and innovation in real estate development. Up to date the Company has completed a construction area of 365,000m2, delivered more than 2,600 residential and commercial units to owners and put a 67,000m2 shopping mall into operation, forming a large community with a resident population of more than 8,000 surrounding high-end residential areas and new commercial shopping centers, which has become a renowned landmark in Qingyuan County. During the visit the members never stopped making notes or taking photos for future reference.
Mr. Han Qizhong, Deputy General Manager of Qingyuan Company then shared the history of the project by analyzing typical problems encountered and summarizing lessons learned. Mr. Han explained how the Company seize this opportunity to start the development and construction of a mixed-use project in the county, and highlighted some problems and challenges they overcame during the process. He also shared some techniques and strategies they used to address these problems, such as development cycle management, volume and planning control, internal management optimization, etc. Meanwhile, Mr. Han made an outlook into the Company’s direction and goal in the future: to be a leader in real estate development at county level. He was confident that Qingyuan Company would finally achieve that goal.
After the experience sharing session, the members had some good conversations with employees of Qingyuan Company. According to the members, they not only gained an understanding of the development mode and successful experience of Qingyuan Company, but also learned valuable industry knowledge and best practices through this visit. They also emphasized that they were going to apply the knowledge and practices on their jobs and make more contributions to future growth of the Group.
By the end of the day, employees from both sides participated in some joyful team-building activities, which enhanced mutual understanding and friendship between them and strengthened their teamwork and cohesiveness as a team. The members pointed out that this visit had been fruitful in building cohesion among them, and they now felt more energized and motivated than ever.
In addition to facilitating exchanges and friendship between employees of the Group and Qingyuan Company, the visit also provided an important platform for them to learn from each other and grow with each other. It is their common belief that in the coming days they will continue to strengthen cooperation and communication between the two sides, joining hands and contributing to the higher quality development of the Group.
