Over the past decade, a new mode of foreign trade, represented by cross-border e-commerce, has injected great power into global trade. With the rise of a younger generation of overseas buyers and the changes in the behaviors of overseas business buyers, the trend of digital procurement through online platforms is now unstoppable. The market for digitalized B2B foreign trade will be a huge blue ocean that deserves the attention of more Chinese companies. “Demand and orders from foreign customers remain strong in the face of the uncertainties in international trade”, said Mr. Xu, “they want Chinese suppliers to keep improving our core technologies, while at the same time they want us to build a good reputation and a wide-spread after-sales network in their regions. In such a situation, the key to further growth is no doubt the improvement of product quality and brand competitiveness.”
