ITC Business Team 5 Shows up in Gulfood Manufacturing 2023

From November 7-9, 2023, Xu Yanfeng and Chen Weiwen from ITC Business Team 5 attended Gulfood Manufacturing (Dubai International Food Processing Machinery Show 2023). Gulfood Manufacturing is the largest and most important event of food processing industry ever held in the Middle East, as well as a very strategic and challenging business platform, where manufacturers, distributors and suppliers in the food industry from various countries and regions gather together to seek opportunities for win-win cooperation.

As an exhibitor in Gulfood Manufacturing 2023, ITC Business Team 5 displayed and promoted dairy and ice cream equipment, bakery equipment (cone wafer cookies), packaging and food additives, among other products. Prior to the show, the team sent a large number of invitations to potential buyers by utilizing Google Display Network and search engine ads as well as their customer base built in recent years.

During the show, a number of customers visited our booth to discuss potential cooperation. Customers received by the team were mainly divided into three types. Type one customers were existing ones who have cooperated with us before, they came to discuss potential procurement of new products and new orders face to face. Type two customers were those who have been attracted through online channels and had business negotiations with us before, they came to meet with us so as to know our business better. Type three customers are those who have never been in touch before, some of which were industry professionals who wanted to increase production, expand product portfolios or seek innovative products, while others were non-industry professionals randomly looking for products.

As the first session held in the post epidemic era, Gulfood Manufacturing 2023 attracted numerous Chinese factories and traders to show up themselves in Dubai. Joining those top-tier colleagues meant higher requirements on pre-show preparation, on-site communication and product display. Thanks to the close cooperation among members of Business Team 5, the results of the show fully met our expectation. Participating in such a professional industry event provided us with an opportunity to stand out among our peers and serve our customers more closely. Now that the show has ended, our follow-up work has just begun. To take full advantage of Gulfood Manufacturing 2023 to grow our business, ongoing follow-up is also necessary after pre-show promotion and customer reserve building as well as product display and information collection during the show.
